Congratulations! St. Joseph Church is pleased to welcome you for the celebration of your daughter’s quinceañera. And the community joins you in thanksgiving to God for the life of your teen. We know that as a Christian Catholic family, you have come to the church with much joy and enthusiasm asking to celebrate the quinceañera of your teen and are preparing with great expectations. The family is asked to keep in mind that a celebration of quinceañera included in a liturgy involves a Christian responsibility that should be manifested during your participation in the same. You are also reminded that the celebration of the quinceañera IS NOT A SACRAMENT. It can be held by a Deacon or a Priest but equally celebrated with respect and devotion.
Requirements to reserve a date for a Quinceañera:
Members (family registered in the parish and active or living in the city of Placentia):The Masses for quinceañeras are held individually, Saturdays at 12pm. The dates are set and no accommodations will be made. The cost for the celebration is $800.00 per teen. The parents must reserve the date a minimum of (3) months before. The cost includes: music, altar servers and quinceañera coordinator. NO OUTSIDE MUSIC IS PERMITTED.
Not Members (family not registered in the Parish or does not live in the city of placentia) : The Masses for quinceañeras are held individually, Saturdays at 12pm. The dates are set and no accommodations will be made. The cost for the celebration is $1,000.00 per teen. The parents must reserve the date a minimum of (3) months before. The parents must request a letter of permission from their closest Catholic church base on their address. The cost includes: music, altar servers and quinceañera coordinator. NO OUTSIDE MUSIC IS PERMITTED.
To register the teen for a date, the parents must return the registration packet no more than two weeks after receiving it. Along with the packet you should bring the following:
$200.00 deposit (the deposit is not refundable)
CERTIFICATES: Baptism, Communion and Confirmation (received through a Catholic church)
If the teen has not received the Sacrament of Confirmation she must be enrolled in the confirmation program. The parents must bring written proof that the teen is enrolled in the confirmation program.
The families will participate in (1) rehearsal previous to the mass celebration (the quinceañera coordinator will contact the parents to indicate who must attend the rehearsal). The date for the rehearsal will be given once the packet is returned and the date is reserved. Please assure that all forms are carefully read and are signed by whom it corresponds. Teen must complete the following online- Quinceañera preparation it does have an out of pocket fee of $110 not included in Mass celebration fee. Follow the link below.

¡Felicidades! La parroquia de St. Joseph se complace en recibirles para realizar la celebración de los quince años de su hija. Y la comunidad se une a ustedes para dar gracias a Dios por la vida de su joven. Sabemos que como familia cristiana católica, ustedes han venido a la iglesia con alegría y entusiasmo pidiendo la celebración de los quince años de su joven y se preparan con las mejores expectativas. Se le pide a la familia que tengan en cuenta que una celebración de quince años incluida en la liturgia conlleva una responsabilidad cristiana que se debe manifestar durante su participación en la misma. Así también se les recuerda que la celebración de los quince años NO ES UN SACRAMENTO. Puede ser celebrada por un Diacono o Sacerdote pero de igual manera se celebra con respeto y devoción.
Requisitos para apartar la fecha de quince años:
Miembros (personas registradas en la parroquia y que estan activos o que viven en la ciudad de Placentia): Las misas de quinceañeras se llevan a cabo individuales, los sábados a las 12pm. Las fechas ya están fijadas y no habrá acomodaciones. El costo para la celebración es $800.00 por quinceañera. Los padres deben de reservar la fecha mínimo (3) meses antes. El costo incluye: música, servidores del altar y coordinadora de quinceañeras. NO SE PERMITE MUSICA DE AFUERA.
No Miembros (personas que no estan registradas o que viven en otra ciudad): Las misas de quinceañeras se llevan a cabo individuales, los sábados a las 12pm. Las fechas ya están fijadas y no habrá acomodaciones. El costo para la celebración es $1,000.00 por quinceañera. Los padres deben de reservar la fecha mínimo (3) meses antes. Los padres deben de pedir una carta de permiso de su iglesia Católica más cercana basada en su dirección. El costo incluye: música, servidores del altar y coordinadora de quinceañeras. NO SE PERMITE MUSICA DE AFUERA.
Para registrar a la joven en una fecha, los padres deben regresar el paquete de registro máximo dos semanas después de haberlo recibido. Por consiguiente también deben traer:
$200.00 de depósito (el deposito no es reembolsable)
CERTIFICADOS: Bautizo, Comunión y Confirmación (recibidos por medio de una iglesia católica romana)
Si NO ha recibido el sacramento de Confirmación la joven debe de estar inscrita en el programa de Confirmación. Los padres deben traer una constancia por escrito que la joven está inscrita en el programa de confirmación.
La familia tendra (1) ensayo previo a la celebración de la misa (la coordinadora de quinceañeras le indicara quien debe asistir al ensayo). La fecha para el ensayo se les dará una vez que entregue el paquete y se reserve la fecha. Favor de asegurarse de leer cuidadosamente cada forma y que estén firmadas por la persona a quien corresponda. La joven debera completar la siguiente preparación en linea con un costo de $110 no incluido en el costo de la misa. Siga el enlace del idioma que prefiera.
