St. Joseph Church invites adults who wish to become a member of the Catholic faith. This process is known as the order of Christian Initiation of Adults, or “oCIA”. (pREVIOUS KNOWN AS "rcia")

OCIA is a year-round faith formation process for adults who are interested in learning more about the Catholic Church, preparing to receive the Sacraments, or completing their Sacraments of Initiation.

The OCIA process may be for you if:
You have never been baptized; OR
You have been baptized in another Christian tradition; OR
You were baptized as an infant in the Catholic Church, but never received Holy Communion and Confirmation.

New participants are welcome at any time throughout the year. There is no need to wait until a specific season to begin your journey of faith.
